ASIAN ELEGANCE

This Asian lady is placed on the back of a duster length vest.  I hand painted the face.  The kimono is created by manipulating a rectangular shaped fabric with tiny tucks and folds and securing them with thread tacking.  Learn this technique in Sulky Secrets to Successful Appliqué.
