A
signature feature in many of my garments is the meticulously applied
piping. Not only does it add a beautiful touch but it also helps the
garment to lay nicely. I love the
surprise
of the piped and striped fabric piece on the back of the jacket. The
interesting combination of hand dyed velveteen, 30’s
inspired print and use of vintage linen doilies brings to mind a garment
that’s perfectly suitable for an English garden tea party.
