This Fiber
Bubbles raincoat is iridescent blue on one side and silver on the
other. I carefully chose this pattern with a hood to show off the
two sided fabric. The jacket seams are all sewn with French seams
to conceal any raw edges. The piping effectively controls the bulk
of inserting the bulky Fiber Bubbles into a seam that will lay
flat. I loved the new fashion interest in sleeves that I saw in
fashion magazines. A quick and easy leg o’ mutton sleeve was
designed by lengthening the sleeve and simply making elastic
“garters” to slide up and over the sleeve to create the full, puffy
look.
